Tackling Climate Change in Britain
Defending the most precious thing we have
Proud to support the Woodland Trust
& Tree Charter
During 2017 the Woodland Trust reached out to all sections of UK society to define this new charter, and to build a people-powered movement for trees. More than 70 organisations and 300 local community groups answered the call and helped to collect over 60,000 tree stories from people across the UK, demonstrating the important role that trees play in their lives. These stories were read and shared, and helped to define the 10 Principles of the Tree Charter, ensuring that it stands for every tree and every person in the UK.
Services & Expertise
We provide Customers with a vast range of Products, Services and Expertise. These include Renewable Energy, Clean Energy, Energy Audits, Energy Efficiency, Emissions Control & Carbon Reduction helping Britain move from CARBON to GREEN.
An inspection, survey and analysis of energy flows, for energy conservation in a building, process or system to reduce the amount of energy input into the system without negatively affecting the output.
Energy Efficient Britain
Efficient energy use, sometimes simply called energy efficiency, is the goal to reduce the amount of energy required to provide products and services. Green technology whose use is intended to mitigate or reverse the effects of human activity on the environment.
Energy Efficiency Offset
Increasing energy efficiency often costs money up-front but in many cases this capital outlay will be paid back in the form of reduced energy costs within a short time period. This makes efficiency improvements an attractive starting point for reducing carbon emissions.
Future of Energy Supplies
Energy supplies are changing and it will down to mix of Customer and Suppliers to Manage and Control Energy efficiency through smart technologies in the home and Customer Relationship Management systems in Business.
Emissions Control & Reduction
Emissions reduction products and services including DPF filter cleaning service and industrial applications including Bio gas, Natural gas CO and Formaldehyde abatement.

For Britain’s Future Generations
Clean Air Britain
We want people to breathe Clean Air
Zero Emissions Britain
We want people to use Clean Energy and drive Zero Emissions Vehicles.
Zero emission refers to an engine, motor, process, or other energy source, that emits no waste products that pollutes the environment or disrupts the climate.
Low Carbon Britain
Low Carbon power sources that have minimal output of (GHG) emissions.
Renewable Energy from a source that is not depleted when used, such as solar, wind & water power which deliver environmental benefits.
Clean Energy Britain
Clean Energy Electricity & Gas
Solar Electric + Storage off Grid Commercial & Residential PV
Green Communities Britain
We support schemes that benefit local communities and we work with a number of Organisations who have the same vision.
A Greener, Cheaper Energy Britain
Britain’s Green Economy out of Necessity and legislation, will grow considerably in the future. We want to ensure that the highest levels of standards are maintained for Customers looking to switch from CARBON to GREEN and that Prices for Green Energy is Cheaper.
The Future of Rural Energy in Britain
Many homes and businesses in our Rural Communities are off-grid and have little option in choosing high-polluting energy sources, such as coal, heating oil or wood. They have a higher carbon footprint than they need to and often higher, per person, than their urban contemporaries, this is an opportunity for Rural Communities to embrace Renewable Energy.
Britain’s Farming Community
Our Farming Community will play a significant part in Britain’s Energy needs through Solar Farms and Wind turbines hopefully in areas which do not spoil our landscape.
Climate Change “Its in our own hands”
Climate change is often treated as a political issue, but it shouldn’t be.
The facts are the climate of our planet is changing at a pace unlike anything seen in the natural fluctuations traced across geological records, and scientists have overwhelmingly traced this global warming trend to human activity.
- Global temperature rise
- Warming oceans
- Shrinking ice sheets
- Glacial retreat
- Decreased snow cover
- Sea level rise
- Declining Arctic sea ice
- Extreme events
- Ocean acidification
The No.1 Global Challenge
The Earth’s average land temperature has warmed nearly 1°C in the past 50 years as a result of human activity, global greenhouse gas emissions have grown by nearly 80% since 1970, and atmospheric concentrations of the major greenhouse gases are at their highest level in 800,000 years.
World Economic Forum data 2017 – Accord de Paris
Accord de Paris Conclusion
“Paris is just the starting gun for the race towards a low-carbon future,” says WWF-UK Chief Executive David Nussbaum.
The Evidence – Flash Flooding
September 2017 – Scientists make the link between climate change and droughts in Kenya, record winter sun in Britain and torrential downpours in south-west China.
Smarter Power Systems
Major changes to the way electricity is produced, used and stored will result in Smarter Power Systems. Renewable Energy technology today will benefit from advances in Storage of the resources generated. Places such as Warwick University Energy Innovation Centre is a national facility for battery research across the R&D process from materials and electrochemistry through to application integration and recycling / re-use. Their facilities support test, development and scale up of new battery chemistries from concept through to full proven traction batteries, produced in sufficient quantities for detailed industrial evaluation in target applications.
Warwick University Energy Innovation Centre
Smart Technology will increasingly grow, changing our lives and improving our efficiency. Smart tech includes physical and logical applications in all formats that are capable to adapt automatically and modify behaviour to fit the environment. Technologies that allow sensors, databases, and wireless access to collaboratively sense, adapt, and provide for users within their environment.
Storage of electrical energy is generally a complex and expensive challenge. New and improved solutions are required to balance the evolving supply of and demand for energy across applications including automotive, manufacturing and grid. As demands continue to change and grow, suppliers and manufacturers will be expected to manage and improve infrastructure and technology solutions to keep pace.
Swansea University’s SPECIFIC Innovation & Knowledge Centre
Tidal energy is a form of hydro-power that converts the energy of the tides into electricity or other useful forms of power. The tide is created by the gravitational effect of the sun and the moon on the earth causing cyclical movement of the seas.
Green & Sustainable Buildings
Green building (also known as green construction or sustainable building) refers to both a structure and the application of processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building’s life-cycle: from planning to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition.
GLA – Greater London Authority
The facts: London’s toxic air is a health crisis !
- 9,000+ Londoners are dying early every year as a result of toxic air.
- Air quality is especially poor in inner London.
- 40% of air pollution comes from diesel vehicles 10% comes from other types of road transport.
- 6 million car journeys are made by Londoners every day.
- 60% of all journeys are for shopping, leisure or personal business.
Zero Emissions Britain
Battery technology will be a major factor in the growth of Renewable Energy sources. Electric cars now represent a viable from of transport for a lot of people thanks to ongoing leaps in battery technology. Electric cars today combine increased range with super-low running costs and innovative tech.
Climate change affects the social and environmental determinants of health – clean air, safe drinking water, sufficient food and secure shelter.Between 2030 and 2050, climate change is expected to cause approximately 250 000 additional deaths per year, from malnutrition, malaria, diarrhoea and heat stress.
Outdoor air pollution is contributing to about 40,000 early deaths a year in the UK. Royal Colleges of Physicians and of Paediatrics and Child Health.
Our Ocean conference Malta Oct 2017
Nearly half of the World’s population depends directly on the sea for their livelihoods. Water covers 71% of the globe and we all rely on the oceans in some way: for our water, our food, our climate and our air. But human activity has left the oceans suffering from pollution, over exploitation, coastal degradation and global warming.
Global warming occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other air pollutants and greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have bounced off the earth’s surface. Normally, this radiation would escape into space—but these pollutants, which can last for years to centuries in the atmosphere, trap the heat and cause the planet to get hotter. That’s what’s known as the greenhouse effect.
